I'm using some new crossword puzzle software (online, fast, easy) to create new puzzles to go with the new Aesop's fables I'm posting at

now is the cross word making software free of cost ?

The web-based version of the software is free, but if you want a wider range of features, there is also a version of the software for purchase (I'm on a Mac, though, and the downloadable software version is for Windows only, so I have not used it). There's more information at the link I provided there in the post.
